Opening + Closing Night Events

Join top supporters, festival artistic directors and staff to toast the opening of the 6th edition of the Festival at a pre-show reception featuring early access to opening night festivities with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, immediately followed by the opening night production of Wakka Wakka's Immortal Jellyfish Girl (show tickets sold separately). After the performance, come celebrate opening night with the artists and acts ready to astonish and delight you for the next 12 days of the festival! Enjoy drinks, dessert and the regionally-inspired Mexico City ensemble Los Héroes del Desfierro's wind and brass band music, playing free interpretations of a diverse repertoire, both traditional and imaginary. On January 28, join us for a special Closing Night Cabaret featuring the world-celebrated vocalist, actress, puppeteer, director: Yael Rasooly with incomparable accordionist, Iliya Magalnyk.
