Extreme Puppetry (Level 1) with Mark Down

Mark Down is in town again to perform at the Living Room Tour– Take advantage of his presence in Chicago! Come to the Puppet Studio at the Fine Arts Building and learn Extreme Puppetry from the Artistic Director and Co-founder of Blind Summit. You will learn how to bring a puppet to life on your own and then work in a group of 3 using improvisation, breathing, fixed point, focus, and emotions. You may recognize Down from his 2026 performance of fan-favorite The Sex Lives of Puppets or the 2015 performances of The Table at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
